Dr Alireza Zahedi

Dr Zahedi is a highly motivated and innovative genomic epidemiologist with a multidisciplinary background and nearly 10 years of active and high-quality research and research management experience. His focus is on the molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases and application of molecular epidemiology to public health under the One Health initiative. He is a post-doctoral co-lead on the Shigella species and Salmonella species foundational projects and also assists with other AusPathoGen projects.
