Dr Patiyan Andersson

Dr Andersson is a genomic epidemiologist with MDU PHL. He spent 16 years in molecular biology and microbial genomics research, and since graduating from the ANU Master of Applied Epidemiology program in 2019, has worked with the application of pathogen genomics in public health at state, national and regional levels. He is a member of the national analysis team for AusTrakka, Australia's platform for genomic surveillance, and is a lead research fellow across multiple AusPathoGen projects.
