Professor Kathryn Glass

Professor Kathryn Glass is the Head of the Infectious disease Epidemiology and Modelling group in the Research School of Population Health at the Australian National University. She has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Cambridge, and 15 years of experience in developing mathematical and statistical models of infectious disease transmission. Professor Glass has special interests in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases to inform public health policy, effects of vaccination on disease outbreaks, modelling intervention strategies for emerging infectious diseases and source attribution for pathogens causing gastroenteritis.
